It's a meme, yes, but it's one that I like; it's interesting to see everyone else's answers.
Ten Things I've Done That You Probably Haven't
1. Seen the sun rise from the top of Mt. Sinai (obviously haven't done yet)
2. Spent Thanksgiving camping on camelback in the White Desert (damn, in a very good way, one of my favorite animals, and most indifferent holidays!)
3. Confused people by having, and understanding, a conversation in Arabic with someone speaking Japanese. Despite the fact that we were both native English speakers.(meaning interrupting?!)
4. Taught a Scottish dance class. (Okay, this one's a bit preemptive, as I won't have done it until this Friday. But I am trying to keep this list from being summed up as "I studied abroad in Egypt and you probably didn't.")(second parentheses set, obviously. I don't think I will be doing this one...)
5. Discussed religion in halting Arabic with a folk healer in Marrakech, and been told how to cure epilepsy with a dried hedgehog.(a must-do)
6. Eaten blood oranges and sheep's cheese in the middle of ancient ruins in Rome.(the blood oranges sounds good, it'll do in a Roman junkyard, haha.)
7. Been proposed to by a Cairo taxi driver.(I wish for this to happen to me, if it could get me Egyptian citizenship!)
8. Been inside the Great Pyramid. [info]cdbaker got this one too, which I should have realized when I wrote it. Um. Galloped on horseback around the pyramids, then. Which she may have also done, but I'll risk it.(and I have done this, and am 20 years, old, a doubly false statement)
9. Gone snorkelling in the Red Sea. [info]cdbaker again. Darn it, Rabs, I'm running out of exciting things. Watched an orthopedic surgery on a dog's knee; how's that? (I like the first option)
10. Competed in the Odyssey of the Mind world championships. [info]samethreechords has done this too, and scored better even. So, instead: Wrestled a deer at the crack of dawn, in the name of science. (neither sounds personally tempting, both sound mega-interesting)
current mood: procrastinating(aren't we all)
current music: "Bethlehem" by Paula Cole in my head ( I like and may try the in-my-head playing)
I am going to befriend this genarti, as the wise thing learned from this meme insists.

I have snorkeled in the Dead Sea. Which is almost the Red Sea. The floating is easy.
